![]() Tackett proceeded to stab Sharer several more times before driving off once more with Loveless to beat and sodomize Sharer with a tire iron. They then went to Tackett’s house to clean up and drink sodas before realizing that their victim, now screaming in the trunk, was still alive. Instead, they stabbed her in the chest and strangled her with a rope before throwing her in the trunk of the car, thinking she was dead. They then tried to slit Sharer’s throat, but the knife was too dull. That torture wasn’t enough to satiate the older girls. Meanwhile, Lawrence and Rippey stayed behind in Tackett’s car. Loveless hit the victim’s face with her knee until she bled profusely from her mouth. Loveless and Tackett stripped off Sharer’s clothes and proceeded to punch her repeatedly. The three other girls assumed Loveless was simply going to scare Sharer into breaking up with Heavrin.įor seven hours, the four girls brutally tortured Shanda Sharer before ultimately killing her. Loveless then convinced the other girls to take Sharer to a remote location where there would be no one else around for miles. In tears and fearful for her life, Sharer tried to respond but to no avail. Loveless soon leapt out from under the blanket and threatened to slit Sharer’s throat if she didn’t confess to stealing Heavrin away from her. In the back seat, Melinda Loveless was hiding under a blanket with a knife. The girls then took Sharer into their car and told her they were going to drive her to the meeting place at the Witch’s Castle, an isolated and abandoned house that served as a local teen hangout. Sharer told the girls to return after her parents were asleep, which they did. The girls used the pretense that they were taking Sharer to see Heavrin as the excuse for their visit. The foursome drove to where Sharer was spending the weekend with her father. On the night of January 10, 1992, Loveless enlisted three friends - Laurie Tackett (17), Hope Rippey (15), and Toni Lawrence (15) - to help her take her revenge on Shanda Sharer. This worried Sharer’s parents, they were concerned about the effects of their daughter’s relationship with Heavrin, so they transferred her to a Catholic school in late November. In the weeks following, Melinda threatened Shanda in public and began to write letters to Amanda saying she wanted Shanda dead. At the dance, Melinda tried to fight Shanda, but Amanda stopped her. The sight of Shanda and Amanda together made Melinda furious. On October 1991, Sharer and Heavrin attended a school together. In the fall of 1991, Shanda met Amanda Heavrin, whom she had a fight and both got sent to detention, where they later became friends and eventually they exchanged love letters and a relationship began.Īmanda Heavrin had previously dated 15-year old Melinda Loveless, so when Loveless found out that Heavrin was dating Sharer she grew jealous of them. When her mother divorced again, the family moved in June 1991 to New Albany, Indiana. Shanda was born in Pineville, Kentucky on June 6th, 1979 to Stephen Sharer and his wife Jacqueline, who was later known as Jacqueline Vaught.Īfter her parents got divorced and her mother remarried the family moved to Louisville. Shanda Renee Sharer was a 12 year old who was brutally murdered and tortured by 4 teenage girls (between the ages 15 and 17) in January 12, 1992. As such, any tool that will make it easier to understand what the g-code is doing and even to test it by simulation before you put it on your CNC machine is very helpful. G-Wizard Editor for CNC Macro ProgrammingĬNC Macro Programming makes for more complex g-code. But before we do that, let me tell you about a tool that will help you tremendously in learning and in doing CNC Macro Programming. Let’s give a brief overview of what each one means and how they fit together, then we’ll turn you loose to go through each lesson in more detail. CNC Macro Programming Topic AreasĬNC Macro Programming may be broken down into the following topic areas, and we have a lesson for each area: Just use a our G-Wizard CNC Simulator and Editor to play with the Macro B capabilities. If you don’t have a controller with Macro B, it’s still worth checking it out. We can’t document every G-Code Dialect here, but the concepts offered in Macro B will be similar to what you see elsewhere, and therefore applicable to those cases with slightly different syntaxes and capabilities. Not all controllers support full Macro B, and there are variations supported by some non-Fanuc controllers. A word about Fanuc Macro Bįanuc Macro B is by far the most common Macro Programming Dialect. Go through our lessons so you can add this power tool to your tool box. There are many more examples in the article, but you get the idea how powerful CNC Macro Programming can be. Using the G10 g-code, you can make part programs set themselves up for particular fixtures that will be at know locations on your fixture plate. Modular Fixturing can save you a lot of time by ensuring repeatability of where fixtures are located relative to machine coordinates. Just another job for cnc macro programming. Being able to quickly and flexibly change lot sizes or partially remachine parts to rework mistakes can be very helpful. You could use cnc macro programming to tell the part program how many of the available fixture slots actually contain parts and which of a series of machining steps to execute. Make it easier to rework parts or change lot sizes.By putting the feeds and speeds in macro variables, it becomes possible for the same program to work on all three materials. Perhaps you offer aluminum, stainless steel, and titanium, or some such. Suppose you make the same part, but in different materials. With CNC Macro Programming, a vast number of new things are possible. That’s useful, but computers and CNC controllers are capable of a lot more. Without CNC Macro Programming, G-Code is not really a full fledged computer language, it’s more a recording of a series of manual steps.
